About the Process

My prints, greeting cards, and t-shirts are handmade using an art form known as linocut, or block-printing. Historically, this type of printing was done with carved wood blocks and thus known as woodcut; but I use a softer material that is easier to carve.

I sketch a design on paper, transfer it to a linoleum or rubber block, carve away the negative space with a lino cutting tool, ink the resulting stamp, and press it onto the paper or fabric. 

The result is that you get a piece of art that is affordable because I can stamp multiples of each design, but still unique because no two prints come out exactly the same.
