Why Daylily?

Daylily flowers bloom in almost every climate in almost any soil condition. Daylilies can be found blooming just as easily in an untended ditch as in a carefully landscaped garden. They are humble, and yet very beautiful plants. Likewise, though my art is not grand, I believe its simplicity contributes to how well it portrays the beauty and joy of small, everyday moments. It is my desire that, like a daylily, my creativity would reflect the glory of the Creator.
