I made this linocut for my husband’s and my 11th anniversary. It is based on Song of Solomon 8:7 and is full of symbolism. The rock represents Christ, the firm foundation for every Christian marriage. The hearts represent love. The tulips represent joy and growth. The olive branches symbolize peace. The flood waters are the trials of life which cannot destroy a home that is founded on the Rock.
